A fire in Gwazange area, Argungu town, Kebbi State claimed the lives of a housewife, her two children and a housekeeper.
It was recorded that the inferior razed the house of Alhaji Saidu Muhammad Argungu, an ancient businessman, where his late wife, two children and a maid lost their lives before they could be helped.
Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, who paid a condolence visit to the bereaved husband, Alhaji Saidu Muhammed Argungu, urged him to accept the incident as Allah’s will and prayed to Allah for forgiveness to the deceased and grant them Aljannah Firdausi.
Bagudu, also pleaded with Almighty God to give the family the courage to bear the irreparable loss.
In his reaction, Alhaji Saudu Muhammad Argungu, the bereaved husband. thanked the governor for the condolence visit and prayed to Allah to reward him abundantly.
The governor, in Birnin Kebbi, also inspected the level of destruction caused by a fire at the Brilux printing press located opposite Rima roundabout, which belonged to Dr Umar Jibril Gwandu, Media Assistant to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar. Chika Malami.
The printing plant was ravaged by a fire on Friday afternoon, where all millions of equipment and other valuables were destroyed.
Governor Bagudu also paid a similar sympathy visit to the primary and secondary school in the fire-hit Emirate of Argungu, where he walked around to see the extent of the damage caused by the midnight hell where a block of building was completely razed by fire.
He said he was shocked by the level of destruction at the school and promised to help rebuild the damaged block.
