Cape May, New Jersey has miles of beautiful beaches for relaxing or swimming.
The beaches are protected by certified and well-trained lifeguards from the city of Cape May.
Even if you don’t participate in beach activities, the backdrop setting is absolutely magical.
GREAT HOTELS, MOTELS, BED & BREAKFAST
Cape May offers dozens of high quality hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts.
The beachfront property above is The Sea Crest Inn, owned by Bob and Cyndi Progner, located directly on iconic Beach Avenue in Cape May, New Jersey.
The main building opened in August 1978, the elevated building was built in 1990. The rooms have been continuously updated over the past 44 years.
CAPE MAY’S RESTAURANTS ARE EXCEPTIONAL
Pictured above is the iconic La Mer Beachfront Resort, which has a wonderful restaurant. The dining experience is excellent.
It is located on Beach Avenue in the quiet area of Cape May City.
There are countless incredible food and drink experiences waiting to be enjoyed in Cape May.
WILLOW CREEK CELLAR AND FARM
In addition to all aspects of the winery and farm, there are also six cabins, making this a great getaway.
The cottages are surrounded by stunning vineyard views and beautiful gardens.
HORSEBACK AND CARRIAGE RIDES IN CAP MAY
If you’ve never done this before, it’s a wonderful experience. It’s a combination of elegance, paired with a sense of throwing back time, before motorized cars became the most common form of travel.

SHOPPING AT WASHINGTON STREET MALL
There are literally dozens of stores that seem to have something for everyone in the family.
Restaurants, clothing, children’s toys, ice cream parlors and much more.
You just park and shop. It’s so simple.
THE SUN SETTING ON THE BEACH
We love Sunset Beach.
- Have a quick meal.
- Gift shop with something for everyone.
- Look at the “concrete ship” in the ocean, just off the coast.
- Miniature Golf.
- Hunt the “sea glass” of Cape May.
During the summer, every day at sunset, the Hume family (owners of Sunset Beach) hold a wonderful patriotic ceremony in which the flag of the United States is lowered with dignity and respect.
MID-ATLANTIC CENTER FOR THE ARTS TROLLEY TOURS
The perfect way to relax and visit Cape May at the same time.
Just hop on the tram and you can see all the beautiful seaside homes, various mansions and historical sites.
It’s a great family activity.
The ticket office for the various trolley tours is located at the Washington Street Mall.
There are many antique shops in Cape May. You will come across so many interesting and diverse items.

VISIT OF THE EMLEN PHYSICK DOMAINE
The rich history of Dr. Physick and this area makes it a great family activity and your.
Tours are led by very knowledgeable people, dressed in late 1800s clothing.
The Physick Estate was built in 1879. It is an 18-room mansion considered an architectural marvel.
During this incredible tour, you will feel like you have been transported back to the late 1800s. This is a really fun activity.
